Barn Tour
We encourage all new and potential clients to begin with a Barn Tour! Visiting the barn is the perfect way to get a feel for our program, meet our friendly trainers, and say hello to our wonderful lesson horses. During your visit, we’ll walk you through our facilities, answer any questions you have about lessons, and help you determine the best starting point for your riding journey.

With access to a consistent horse, you'll have the opportunity to apply what you learn in your lessons and make even more progress outside of structured sessions.

The Home School Program
The Homeschool Riding Program offers riders
four riding lessons per month, held Monday through Friday at 1 PM. Each lesson includes hands-on learning, focusing on riding skills, horse care, and horsemanship. After riding, students participate in educational horsemanship classes, covering topics like grooming, tacking, and horse behavior.
Designed for homeschool families seeking an active, structured program, this is a great way for kids to build confidence, responsibility, and real-world skills—all while having fun in the barn!

How do I get started?
Book a quick barn tour at https://bit.ly/AMEBarnTour or schedule an intro lesson to meet the team, see the facility, and talk goals. We’ll cover safety, rider level, attire, scheduling, and budget, then outline next steps—single lessons, memberships, camps/clinics, or leasing.
Who do you teach?
We welcome kids, teens, and adults from true beginners to advanced riders. New riders start with an intro/assessment so we can place you in the right program and horse.
What should I wear or bring to my lessons?
Wear an ASTM/SEI-certified riding helmet, boots with a small heel, and long pants (breeches, jods, snug jeans/leggings). Tops should be fitted; avoid loose clothing or dangling jewelry. Tie long hair back, bring water, and dress for the weather. If you don’t have a helmet yet, ask about short-term loaners.
Do I need my own horse?
No—our school horses are available for lessons. If you want extra saddle time, approved riders can lease: a half lease adds several additional rides each week while the horse still teaches, and a full lease offers near-exclusive access for practice, clinics, and shows. Availability is limited—ask your coach for current openings and requirements.
