The Home School Program
The Homeschool Riding Program offers riders
four riding lessons per month, held Monday through Friday at 1 PM. Each lesson includes hands-on learning, focusing on riding skills, horse care, and horsemanship. After riding, students participate in educational horsemanship classes, covering topics like grooming, tacking, and horse behavior.
Designed for homeschool families seeking an active, structured program, this is a great way for kids to build confidence, responsibility, and real-world skills—all while having fun in the barn!

Do I need my own horse?
No!
Our lesson program includes well-trained school horses. If you’re interested in leasing or purchasing, we also offer options for dedicated riders.
Can parents watch lessons?
Yes!
We have designated viewing areas for parents. We encourage positive, supportive spectating.
What does a typical lesson look like?
Each lesson begins with grooming and tacking, ensuring riders understand horse care before getting in the saddle. Riding instruction includes position, control, and skill-building exercises, followed by untacking and caring for the horse after the ride.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We ride rain or shine in our indoor and outdoor arenas! In extreme weather conditions, lessons may include horsemanship, groundwork, or classroom-style learning to keep riders engaged and progressing.
Can I take a trial lesson prior to committing to a membership?
Yes!
Our Jump Start Lesson is a one-time introductory lesson designed to give new riders a feel for our program before committing to a membership.
