Our training philosophy centers on developing a relationship between horse and rider.
We believe that true riders stem from and understanding and respect of horses. Our approach is rooted in classical training techniques blended with modern methodologies to ensure that both horse and rider achieve their full potential in a safe, supportive, and responsive environment.

Lessons
At Ashley Mason Equestrian, our riding lessons are designed to help you progress with confidence, no matter your experience level. Whether you’re here to sharpen your skills or just enjoy time in the saddle, we’ve got a lesson program to fit your goals. Every lesson includes hands-on horsemanship, top-quality school horses, and expert instruction based on our 10-Level Curriculum. Riders also have the chance to join group horsemanship classes, participate in clinics, and be part of a supportive equestrian community.
Camps
We offer exciting week-long Summer Camps and single-day Pony Camps for young riders. Our Summer Camps provide a full week of riding, horse care, and fun activities to enhance skills and foster friendships. For a shorter experience, our Pony Camps offer a great introduction to riding and horse care in a fun, supportive environment. Both options are perfect for kids eager to dive into the world of horses and enjoy memorable equestrian adventures.
Leasing
At Ashley Mason Equestrian, our horse leasing program allows riders to enjoy the benefits of regular riding and bonding with a specific horse without the full commitment of ownership. This cost-effective option is ideal for enhancing riding skills and building confidence. Participants have access to our quality horses and facilities, providing a focused and supportive environment for equestrian development. Horse Showing
At Ashley Mason Equestrian, our Horse Showing Program is designed for riders who are ready to take their skills to the competitive stage, offering both a Junior and Senior show team. This program provides comprehensive training and preparation for a variety of equestrian competitions, from local shows to rated shows. Riders receive tailored coaching focused on both the technical aspects of riding and the strategies for successful competition. Consignment Sales
Our Consignment Horse Sales Program is designed to facilitate both buying and selling horses and ponies. We provide a professional and seamless service for those looking to find the perfect match, whether selling a beloved horse or purchasing a new companion. Our experienced team handles all aspects of the transaction, from effective marketing and showcasing to negotiating and finalizing sales. FAQS
Do I need my own horse?
No!
Our lesson program includes well-trained school horses. If you’re interested in leasing or purchasing, we also offer options for dedicated riders.
Can parents watch lessons?
Yes!
We have designated viewing areas for parents. We encourage positive, supportive spectating.
What does a typical lesson look like?
Each lesson begins with grooming and tacking, ensuring riders understand horse care before getting in the saddle. Riding instruction includes position, control, and skill-building exercises, followed by untacking and caring for the horse after the ride.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We ride rain or shine in our indoor and outdoor arenas! In extreme weather conditions, lessons may include horsemanship, groundwork, or classroom-style learning to keep riders engaged and progressing.
Can I take a trial lesson prior to committing to a membership?
Yes!
Our Jump Start Lesson is a one-time introductory lesson designed to give new riders a feel for our program before committing to a membership.
