At Ashley Mason Equestrian we believe that every child should have the opportunity to experience the magic of horses in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.
That’s why we offer both week-long Summer Camps and Single-Day Pony Camps, designed for horse lovers ages 6-13. Whether your child is a first-time rider or has years of experience in the saddle, our camps provide a unique and immersive equestrian experience tailored to each camper’s skill level.

Week-Long Summer Camps provide an in-depth opportunity to advance their riding skills and gain a deeper understanding of horsemanship. If your child is new to horses or looking for a shorter experience, our Single-Day Pony Camps are the perfect introduction to riding, horse care, and stable life.
Pony Day Camps
Discover the magic of ponies at our one-day Pony Day Camps—perfect for first-time riders and horse-loving kids!
Campers enjoy a fun-filled day of riding, grooming, games, and pony-themed crafts, all while learning the basics of horsemanship in a safe, supportive environment. Small group sizes ensure plenty of hands-on time with our gentle ponies. Saddle up for a day of learning, laughter, and unforgettable memories at Ashley Mason Equestrian!
Camp runs 9-2 select Mondays and Sunday throughout the year!

Long Pants, Shirt with sleeves ( No Tank Tops allowed) and a leather, closed toed boot with a heel. Those without boots will not be allowed to ride.

Summer Camp
Our week-long camps are the perfect summer adventure for kids who love horses! Campers will spend the week learning horseback riding, horsemanship, and stable management, while also enjoying arts & crafts, games, and team-building activities.

Do campers need previous experience?
No. We welcome brand-new riders through confident beginners and beyond. We group by age and experience, start with a safety briefing and horse-handling basics, and match riders to appropriate school horses.
What Does a typical day look like?
- Hands-on grooming and tacking
- Arena riding lesson
- Unmounted horsemanship (barn safety, horse care, tack),
- Team games/crafts and quiet breaks.
If weather interferes (heat, storms), we switch to indoor/shaded unmounted sessions so learning continues safely.
What Should my child bring?
An ASTM/SEI-certified riding helmet (We have some school helmets available), boots with a small heel, long pants (breeches/jods/snug jeans/leggings), and a fitted top. Tie long hair back; no sandals or dangling jewelry. Pack a refillable water bottle, labeled lunch/snacks, sunscreen, and a light jacket/rain layer.
